Aarti Singla, MD, MBA, is dual board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine and certified by the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians in regenerative medicine. At Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Liberty Township and Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Singla is passionate about helping people regain their active lifestyles.
She specializes in providing comprehensive non-surgical care for spine-related issues, joint pain, and a wide variety of pain syndromes. Dr. Singla embraces a comprehensive approach to care, customizing each treatment to her patients’ specific needs. She provides interventional pain procedures, medications, therapy, patient education, and electrodiagnostic testing.
Dr. Singla grew up in Cincinnati and attended an accelerated undergraduate/medical school program at Youngstown State University and Northeastern Ohio Medical University, graduating in just six years with both degrees. She then completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a subsequent fellowship in pain management at the University of Kentucky.
Despite having already achieved significant professional success, Dr. Singla decided to pursue an MBA degree to increase her business acumen, particularly in discussions around finance and operations that are critical in the medical field, whether with a private practice or a large hospital system. She chose the EMBA program specifically to bridge the gap between scientist and entrepreneur. She served as Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with the Wilmington Physicians Group in Ohio when she began the EMBA program before joined Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in July 2015.
Whether in her professional or personal life, Dr. Singla is committed to improving the lives of those around her. She enjoys reading, spending time with her three children, and running. Dr. Singla also currently serves on the Executive MBA Advisory Board, providing helpful guidance and insight.
