Dr. Singla embraces a comprehensive approach to patient care, customizing each treatment plan to her patients’ specific needs. At her disposal is a wide variety of options, including interventional pain procedures, medications, therapy, braces, and patient education. She also performs electrodiagnostic testing.
Dr. Singla grew up in Cincinnati. She had already been through many years of schooling before deciding to join the Executive MBA program. She attended an accelerated undergraduate/medical school program at Youngstown State University and Northeastern Ohio Medical University, graduating in just six years with both degrees. Dr. Singla then went on to complete her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a subsequent fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Kentucky. She was serving as Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with the Wilmington Physicians Group in Wilmington, Ohio when she began the EMBA program, then joined Wellington Orthopaedic in July 2015, prior to her graduation. She specializes in non-surgical management of neck and back pain with the ultimate goal of helping her patients regain an active lifestyle. Despite having already achieved significant professional success, Dr. Singla decided to pursue a MBA degree to increase her business acumen, particularly in discussions around finance and operations that are critical in the medical field, whether with a private practice or a large hospital system. She chose the EMBA program specifically to bridge the gap between scientist and entrepreneur. Dr. Singla shared: "The trip to South Africa was the most memorable and impactful [part of the program] - to see how social structures affect the growth of economies." Whether in her professional or personal life, Dr. Singla is committed to improving the lives of those around her. She enjoys reading, spending time with her three children, and running. Dr. Singla is also currently serving on the Executive MBA Advisory Board, providing helpful guidance and insight!
